Fundraising 101

How to Achieve Fundraising Success

1. Set a Goal.

2. Develop some talking points to prepare yourself for when you speak to people. The most important thing you can do is tell your story.

3. ASK!

4. Stay in Communication With Your Donors.

5. Get Creative in Your Communications.

The run is months away - actually "days" if you want to be technical - 138! So you've got lots of time to get fundraising! Don't forget to get your donation pages set up and take advantage of all the site offers for team members.

Registration is complete

Team Dancing Queen is now officially registered to be a part of the 2009 Run For the Cure. If you are interested in being a part of our team please email Deb or myself at murf1@nb.sympatico.ca and we can be sure to send you an invitation to join our team. We can track our fundraising efforts together to see how much money Team Dancing Queen can raise for Breast Cancer research. I've made the team national so our team can span across the country, not just in Fredericton.

Growing fast!

Hi all! We've only had this post up for a short time and already our team has grown in leaps and bounds....we may even have a National Team if the numbers continue to grow in other locations! Speaking of locations I suppose we'll need to hammer out the details for where the "central" team will run. Fredericton seems like the logical place to me. I was informed by a reliable source (a manager at TanJay) that Nygaard provides T-shirts for this event and we can have our team name printed on them if we get our registration in early enough. We'll leave the final say on the title to the team captain, Deb. If you want to be a part of this team you can leave a comment or email me at murf1@nb.sympatico.ca .

Go Team!
